Just after introducing the Galaxy Mega series in India yesterday, Samsung has launched the Galaxy Fame, which was launched alongside the Galaxy Young.
While Samsung made no official communication regarding the launch of the device, the Samsung Galaxy Fame was spotted on the company’s official online store. Priced at Rs. 11120, the Galaxy Fame has a 3.5 inch HVGA display. The device is powered by just a 1 GHz processor along with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy Fame has two cameras – a 5 MP rear camera and a front facing VGA camera. The device has dual SIM card slots with 3G support. The phone runs on the Android Jelly Bean OS. The device packs in a 1300 mAh battery which the company claims will survive for 6 hours on 3G with standby time of up to 300 hours.
