There has been a lot of leaks and rumors around the premium Galaxy S5 aka the Galaxy S5 Prime aka the Galaxy F. Here’s another one, which shows us the device in all its glory.
We have two new leaks of the device, one shows us the device indoors while the other shows us the device outdoors. The new leaks come from the good folks at PhoneArena.
The indoor pictures are said to be of a pre-production model of the Galaxy F and as per the source, this unit is powered by a Snapdragon 801, which will be changed into a Snapdragon 805 by the time the phone reaches the assembly line. The device is also said to be smaller than the Galaxy S5, thanks to narrower bezels. The Galaxy F will also feature the IP ratings, similar to the Galaxy S5.
The outdoor pictures are also from the same source and in the broad daylight, we do get a better look of the phone. The bezels do seem narrower than the S5 and the brushed metal back looks good enough. Although you can expect the back to be similar to the LG G3 with metal brushed over the plastic body.
The latest rumors also suggest that the Galaxy F might be released in September to compete with the iPhone 6, which does not really seem plausible, considering the Note 4 should arrive in September too. We should know soon as to when Samsung plans to unveil the device.
The Galaxy F aka the S5 Prime is going Samsung’s answer to the likes of the LG G3, which has surely started on a bang. The Galaxy F will supposedly pack in a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560x1440p) display, the Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3 GB RAM, 16 MP camera with OIS. The specs do sound great and if the pictures are any indication, the device should look a lot better than the Galaxy S5. What do you say?
