After introducing the Lite versions of many of its popular smartphones, Samsung has now announced the Samsung Galaxy Core Lite.
Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy Core Lite in Taiwan. The handset, which is the low-specs version of the Galaxy Core, also comes enabled with LTE support. The device has a 4.7 inch display with resolution of just 800 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the quad core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Lite is equipped with only a rear facing 5 MP camera. While Samsung has started releasing phones running on KitKat, this handset surprisingly runs on the Android v4.3. The device has a 2000 mAh battery and is said to be priced at $265. The global availability of the handset is not yet known.
