The number of devices in the Galaxy series seems to be expanding infinitely. After announcing the Galaxy Mega series a few weeks back, Samsung has added the Galaxy Core today.
The Samsung Galaxy Core is the same device that had leaked a few days ago. Even though it has a 4.3 inch display it has a low resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, which is assumed to be a MediaTek CPU, along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Core has two cameras – an 8 MP primary camera and a front facing VGA camera. The device is run on the Android jelly Bean OS with the TouchWiz Nature UI of Samsung. All the latest features seen in the high-end Galaxy devices like the Smart Stay, S Voice and Smart Alert are available in this device.
Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy Core would come out as a dual-SIM version followed by the single-SIM version launching for select markets later. The handset is expected to be available this month itself.
