As we had reported last night that Samsung is going to launch its Galaxy Camera in India, the Korean giant has today taken the centre-stage and made the device official.
The Samsung Galaxy Camera was put on pre-order a couple of weeks back and today it has been launched for Rs.29,900
The Samsung Galaxy Camera arrives with an effective effective 16.3 MP 1/2.3″ BSI CMOS sensor and packs in F2.8, 23 mm and 21x Optical Zoom Lens. The camera is powered by a powerful 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
The point and shoot Galaxy Camera arrives with a 4.8 inch HD Super Clear Touch Display which gives a crisp look at the images that users click. It arrives with not only with Wi-Fi but also 3G connectivity on-board which will enable users to enjoy fast upload of pictures they click and even download Android apps directly from the Google Play Store & Samsung Apps.
Internal memory of the Galaxy Camera is pegged at at 8 GB which can further be expanded using various SD card up to 32 GB but running out of space should not be much of a concern, thanks to the Galaxy Camera’s Auto Cloud Backup option.
Given the features that the Galaxy Camera arrives with and the price tag of Rs.29,900, the device seems to be a nice buy. What’s your take on it?
