Back in late-February, Samsung had announced an addition to its Galaxy range of handsets with a smartphone which had an integrated projector and named it Samsung Galaxy Beam.
We knew that the smartphone was about to arrive in India as it went on pre-order over Samsung’s eStore in India. And today the Korean giant has officially announced the arrival of Galaxy beam in India.
Galaxy Beam packs in ultra-bright 15 Lumens projector in just 12.5mm thickness and is capable of high-definition projection up to 50’’ wide at a distance of 2 meters, allowing users to freely share their memorable moments instantly with crisp clarity.
Apart from this Galaxy Beam runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor 4 inch TFT display, 5 MP rear facing camera coupled with a 1.3 MP front facing camera. It arrives with 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB via microSD slot.
Great news for prospective buyers is that the Galaxy Bean will ship with 2 powerful 2000 mAh battery to keep the projector smartphone running and never run out of juice at an important moment of yours.
The Galaxy Beam comes with specialized applications like the Ambience feature for various mood experiences and a drawing tool for presentations. It enables the presenter to easily bring the viewers’ attention without a laser printer.
Samsung Galaxy Bean has been priced at Rs. 33,900 but is available for Rs. 29,990 at Samsung eStore.
