Just a month after the Samsung Galaxy Alpha with the new metallic design was announced, the company has now launched the handset in India.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which is the company’s premium smartphone with a metal frame. The device has a 4.7 inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the octa core Exynos processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is equipped with a rear facing 12 MP camera with LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities. There is also a front facing 2.1 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with an 1860 mAh battery. The phone also comes with fingerprint scanner and built-in heart rate monitor. The handset is priced at Rs. 39990 and is available in Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, Frosted Gold, Sleek Silver and Scuba Blue colour options.
