Samsung recently released two new budget smartphones in India in the form of Galaxy Core II and Ace 4 and now, the South Korean giant is gearing up to release another affordable smartphone dubbed Galaxy Ace NXT.
The news comes from Manish Khatri of Mahesh Telecom, according to whom the device will go on sale in India in the coming few days. The price is said to be Rs. 7,399 (MOP) and Rs. 8,550 (MRP). According to him, the device features a 3 MP rear camera with flash, a matte design and 3G support. The device features the Duos branding, so we can expect the dual SIM functionality.
We also get to know the rest of the specifications, thanks to a GFXBenchmark listing. According to the listing, the Samsung SM-G313H aka the Ace NXT will come with a 4-inch WVGA (800x480p) display. It is said powered by a 1.2 GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC7715 processor with Mali-400 GPU and 512 MB RAM. There’s 4 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion and Android 4.4.2 KitKat will run the show.
According to the retailer, the stocks of the device are arriving in a few days, so we can expect an official announcement pretty soon. For the price of around Rs. 8,550, the device surely pales when compared to the likes of lesser priced Moto E. It seems Samsung isn’t learning at all.
