Earlier this month, we heard a rumor about the Samsung Galaxy A90 coming with a pop-up selfie camera. Now, according to the latest information coming in, this smartphone will feature a sliding and rotating camera system.
According to popular leakster OnLeaks, the Galaxy A90 will come with a sliding camera, but, it will also have a rotating motor that will allow the camera to be used for regular photos as well as for selfies and video calls.
In short, this camera system will be a combination of OPPO’s Find X and N1 smartphones. The Find X comes with a slider which when opened gives access to the front and rear cameras. The N1, on the other hand, comes with a single rotating camera that allows it to be used as a rear camera and a front camera.
While OnLeaks does say that he has received this information from a reliable source, it’s still unconfirmed, so we will have to wait for some live images or renders to surface online to get a better idea of what the Galaxy A90 will look like.
That said, the Galaxy A90 is likely to be an upper mid-range smartphone and might come with features like an in-display fingerprint scanner. As far as the camera system is concerned, it would be interesting to see how Samsung implements it.
