While Samsung has started using the fingerprint scanner on all its flagship devices, the company now plans on using the sensor for its upcoming A series smartphones.
According to sources, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8 smartphone would flaunt a sensitive touch-based fingerprint sensor just like that on the Galaxy S6. Besides that we expect the device to pack in a 5.7 inch full HD display with the octa core Snapdragon 615 processor. Also expected is a 16 MP rear facing camera and a 5 MP front facing camera.
Should the rumours be true, the Samsung Galaxy A8 would be the premium offering in the A series. Further the company seems to be closing in on the difference between the Galaxy Note 4 and the A series smartphone. While initially rumours claimed that the device would be exclusive to China only, reports now suggest rollout in Asian and European countries.
