The Samsung Galaxy A8 was announced last year, and now, it seems Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy A8 (2016) as well in the coming days. The Galaxy A8 (2016) has appeared on GFXBench giving us a look at its specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) that has appeared on GFXBench carries model number SM-A810. According to the GFXBench listing, the device is powered by Exynos 7420 SoC which is laced with 3 GB RAM and Mali-T760 MP8 GPU.
The Galaxy A8 (2016) boots up to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and offers 32 GB of internal storage. It boasts off a 5.1-inch Full-HD display and comes with a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera.
Talking about the display, the Galaxy A8 (2016) has a 5.1-inch display which is smaller than its predecessor which sported a 5.7-inch display. Also, the Galaxy A8 (2015) was powered by Snapdragon 615 SoC along with 2 GB RAM. There’s no information about the battery on the Galaxy A8 (2016), but, given the fact that A8 (2015) carried a 3050 mAh battery, we are expecting the battery on A8 (2016) to be somewhere around the same mark.
