Recently there have been quite a few rumours suggesting a new line-up for Samsung smartphones called the Alpha range. Now we’ve got a whiff of one the expected handset of the line-up.
The much rumoured Samsung Galaxy A7 was spotted on the official Samsung website. Though it wasn’t a direct listing, the website had a User Agent profile of a device codenamed SM-A700FD (better known as the Galaxy A7). Not only did we get a confirmation of its existence but also got details of the specs.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 apparently flaunts a massive 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Interestingly, the profile reveals a 1.5 GHz chipset, which suggests a 64-bit processor which is probably the Snapdragon 410. The device would run on the Android KitKat version and are also expected to get the Android Lollipop update at the earliest.
