Yesterday we saw the specifications of Samsung’s Galaxy A7 (2017) that were revealed through GFXBench. Now today, specifications of Galaxy A3 (2017) have been revealed on GFXBench.
The Galaxy A3 (2017) has been listed on GFXBench with model number SM-A320x. It has a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor under the hood which is laced with 2 GB RAM and Mali-T830 GPU. The tested device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI atop, however, we hope that it will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box at the time of launch which might take place at the end of this year or the beginning of next.
The device sports a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. This is similar to the one that was found on the Galaxy A3 (2016). The Galaxy A3 (2017) has 8 GB of internal storage and comes with a camera combo of 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera.
There’s no information about the battery, but, given the fact that Galaxy A3 (2016) packed 2300 mAh battery, we hope Samsung would bump it up to at least 2500 mAh on the 2017 variant.
As the 2017 variants of the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A7 have made an appearance on GFXBench, we expect Galaxy A5 (2017) to pop up soon on this benchmarking site, possibly carrying model number SM-A520x.
