Why is the Samsung ATIV S unique? Well, the 4.8-inch smartphone was the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone which was made official and unveiled back in August 2012.
But for some unknown reasons, Samsung has still not been able to deliver the smartphone to the end users who are waiting for it.
In the last few days there have been rumours that the ATIV S could have been delayed and arrive only in February 2013. But Samsung has not come out in open and let us know via WPC that the ATIV S is still on track and will be available by the end of the year.
Going by the specifications that the Samsung ATIV S arrives with, it was being thought that the Windows Phone 8 smartphone will be a tough competitor to the HTC 8X and the Nokia Lumia 920 but it seems that the delay in making the device available to users is helping the other two flagships to grab good amount of customers.
