So along with the official launch of the Galaxy Note II, Samsung also took the centre stage and opportunity to announce its first Windows Phone 8 running smartphone the Samsung ATIV S thus also making it the first Windows Phone 8 smartphone to be announced.
Coming back to the Samsung it is a smartphone for both work and entertainment featuring Windows Phone 8. ATIV S brings a stunning hairline design and high performance with a range of content-sharing and productivity options.

Samsung has not yet revealed any more details on the pricing or the availability of the device but we expect the details to flow in once Microsoft officially announces the launch of the Windows Phone 8 OS.
