Three new handsets have been announced today by Samsung which cover all three mobile platforms that Samsung deals with. The Galaxy Y, Omnia W and Wave 3 are the latest offerings by the company and are now official for India.
Firstly its new Android goodness with the Galaxy Y which is priced at Rs. 7,830 which comes with Android 2.3, an 832MHz CPU, a 3-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, support for various Hubs, TouchWiz UI and a 1200mAh battery.
Next up is the flagship handset Wave 3 which will run on the latest Bada 2.0 platform and includes a 1.4GHz processor, 14.4Mbps HSDPA, 5MP camera, 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct support, GPS, Bluetooth and 1500mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 19,600 and will be available from next month.
Lastly, the Omnia W which is a Windows Phone Mango equipped handset and includes a 1.4GHz processor, 14.4Mbps HSPA, 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 8GB internal memory, A-GPS, Hubs support and 1500mAh battery. The Omnia W will also be available next month at a price of Rs. 19,900.
