Samsung has added another tablet to its Galaxy Tab portfolio by introducing Samsung Galaxy Tab Active in India.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a rugged tablet which is designed for field service professionals. Samsung claims that this tablet is light in weight and highly portable.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active possesses a 8 inch anti reflective HD LCD display. Samsung claims that this tablet can is easily viewable outdoors under sunlight. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor which is couple with 1.5 GB RAM. It has 16 GB of on board storage which can be expanded up to 64 GB via a micro SD card slot.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active houses a 3.15 MP primary camera with LED flash and 1.2 MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat and has a 4450 mAh battery. Other features include Samsung Knox Enterprise- Grade Security,dust and water resistance, NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi and C-Pen (tougher version of the standard stylus)

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active will come in Titanium Green color and will be available at around Rs. 52,000 from the month of March. Since it’s an enterprise product it won’t be available through retail channels.
