Just after LG launched the G Pro 2 at Rs. 51500, Samsung has announced a buyback scheme for the flagship Galaxy S5 in India to help compete better in the local market.
Samsung has announced a buyback offer for the Galaxy S5, which is currently priced at Rs. 51500 in India. The offer provides a rebate of Rs. 7500 on exchange of an old smartphone. After applying the offer, the handset is available at Rs. 44000. The scheme is valid till May 31, 2014. Also Samsung would give vouchers worth Rs. 5000 on purchase.
The vouchers can be redeemed on the eStore for purchasing accessories and other purchases. There is also an existing EMI scheme which can be used to purchase the Galaxy S5 by paying just Rs. 2444 per month for 18 months. However the offer is available only to HDFC credit card holders.
