One of the major expectation at today’s Google I/O conference is Samsung’s first Android Wear smart watch. While it will be officially launched in a few hours, the details of the watch are now out.
According to sources, the Samsung Android Wear smart watch will be called as the Samsung Gear Live. The watch is said to flaunt a 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display. The device is said to be powered by a 1.2 GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, rumours suggest that the processor would be Samsung’s own Exynos SoC.
Interestingly, the Samsung Gear Live is expected to sport a heart rate monitor, like the one seen in the Galaxy S5. The watch would be dust and waterproof with IP67 certification. While there is no official word, the watch is expected to be seen in retail stores as soon as July 7. We will bring you the details once the conference kick-starts in a few hours.
