Just last week we saw the news that the Government of Argentina banning Apple and BlackBerry from selling its devices in the country may not be totally true.
The move was said to be taken to stabilize the economy which is going down badly. According to the report the move of imposing extra taxes on imported electronics and the revoking of “automatic” import status for companies that don’t have manufacturing facilities in Argentina, by the government is totally true.
But the talks of the imposition of a ban on sales of products of companies like Apple and BlackBerry which don’t have any manufacturing units in the country is a hoax.
This confirmation comes in from readers of Electronista who have informed that no such ban has been implemented on the companies in the country. Thus going on to prove that the previous report was partially a hoax.
