Apple has an event lined up for the October 23rd where the Cupertino based company has a “little more to show us”.
We are expecting the iDevice maker to unveil the much rumoured smaller iteration of its iPad allegedly to be called the ‘iPad Mini’ but there is also a rumour that we could see a “refreshed” version of the 9.7 inch iPad.
9to5Mac is today reporting that we could see a refreshed version of iPad with the new lightning connector which was announced with the launch of the iPhone 5.
We are also hearing that with the improved version of the iPad, we could also see the tablet arrive with a radio chip for Global LTE support which also was seen first in the Apple iPhone 5. While the improvements are expected to arrive at the October 23rd event, Apple is not expected to increase the prices.
The new refreshed iPad is said to arrive in the existing 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB storage options for $499, $599, and $699 for Wi-Fi only variants and $629, $729, and $829 for the Wi-Fi plus cellular option respectively.
The event is just days away and we will bring all the latest from the event. So stay tuned to us!
