We know that Samsung loves to launch upgraded variants of its popular smartphones after their success and if rumours are to be believed then the Korean giant is prepping up to launch variants of Galaxy S III and Galaxy S II later this year.
The variants might be called Samsung Galaxy S II Plus and Samsung Galaxy S III Mini on arrival according to the rumours.
Going by the specifications which are being speculated, the Galaxy S II Plus is said to be arriving with a 4.5 inch AMOLED Screen, might be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM, have an 8 MP camera at the rear and run on Android 4.0 ICS or even Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS on arrival.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S III Mini is said to be arriving as a competitor to Apple iPhone 4S as the price of the iPhone would be cut after the iPhone 5 is launched. The specs of the S III Mini are said to include a 4 inch Super AMOLED display screen with WVGA resolution, a dual-core processor and a 5 MP camera at the rear.
It is also being said that the S II Plus might be priced a little higher than the S III Mini given the better specs that the smartphone is rumoured to arrive with.
