Rumor king DigiTimes is back with an interesting piece of news and this time around it relates to a probable 10-inch Windows RT powered tablet from Finnish giant, Nokia.
Rumors of Nokia planning to go in for a tablet are not new and date back to November 2011. Also, a leaked ‘Nokia Air’ video also had a concept tablet in it.
According to DigiTimes’ source in the Taiwan-based supply chain, Nokia might be planning to unveil the tablet at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2013 which is scheduled to be held in Barcelona in February 2013.
As per the source, Nokia’s 10-inch Windows RT tablet was to arrive in Q1 2012 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 processor but was later put on hold as Microsoft announced its own Surface tablet and also Nokia wanted to see how the Windows 8/RT tablets fare in the market.
It is also being said that Nokia is still evaluating the situation and has not taken decisions on a marketing approach just yet.
Back in October 2012, we also saw a design patent pop up online which suggested how the Nokia branded tablet could look like and you can check out more about it over here.
