While we are still waiting for Reliance Jio to roll out its 4G services to users, Reliance Communications will start offering the services to the recently upgraded customers.
Reliance Communications has announced the rollout of 4G services to its customers in select circles. The rollout, which is expected to commence from next week, would be carried out on the Reliance Jio 4G network. The services can be availed in 12 circles including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, UP East and West, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar.
As an introductory offer, RCom will offer 10 GB of 4G data at the starting price of Rs. 93. The rates would vary depending on the circle but would range between Rs. 93 and Rs. 97. However, the service would be available to only the Reliance CDMA customers who have migrated to the 4G network.
Speaking about the rollout, a RCom official said, “RCom has written to the Department of Telecom, informing (the department) that it will be using Reliance Jio Infocomm 4G network to provide 4G data service to its CDMA customers from next week. Only those CDMA customers who opted for the upgrade will get the service.”
