With the India-Bangladesh test match underway, Reliance Jio is now offering free JioNet Wi-Fi services to the spectators.
Reliance Jio has announced that it is offering free high-speed JioNet Wi-Fi services at the Uppal Stadium for the on-going India-Bangladesh test match. The service, which is free to all the users in the stadium, will use state-of-the-art Wi-Fi access points (APs) that will cover the entire stadium. The Wi-Fi will be available till February 13.
To connect to the free high-speed JioNet Wi-Fi services at the Uppal Stadium, users need to turn on Wi-Fi option and connect to JioNet Wi-Fi. Once connected, users need to generate an OTP and enter it to register on the network. The requested OTP would be valid for 24 hours.
Speaking about the initiative, Reliance Jio said, “With the Indian team piling up huge runs on the score board, it was a field day with the secure JioNet’s comprehensive coverage of high-speed (speeds ranging between 20-30 mbps) internet at the Uppal stadium. Smart mobiles got a new lease of life with the Jionet Wi-Fi, helping the confused with facts and figures of their cricketing stars. With the Wi-Fi providing unbelievable download speeds, their cricketing experience just got doubled.”
