With Reliance Jio reportedly inching closer to the rollout of its 4G services in India, the voice and data plans of the operator have surfaced.
According to sources that have been closely monitoring the Reliance Digital stores in Mumbai, Reliance Jio is planning a soft launch of its 4G LTE services in the next few days (possibly April 1). The company is confirmed to have dispatched SIM cards to the stores and has also conducted training sessions for store staff for enrolling customers, managing documentation and explaining product features.
Further, the source also revealed that the Jio SIM card would apparently be priced at Rs. 200 and would come bundled with 75 GB 4G data and 4500 voice minutes with a three month validity period. The tariffs post the three-month period are not yet known. There is also a possibility that the SIM cards may initially be available only to customers purchasing a LYF smartphone.
