Ahead of the Redmi Note 7 Pro’s launch in China this week, the smartphone has passed through the TENAA certification, revealing the phone’s design as well as key specifications.
In terms of design, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is similar to its sibilant, the Redmi Note 7 which was launched in China last month. There’s a gradient finish on the phone’s back panel, which features a dual camera setup with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor.
Just like the Redmi Note 7, this one too features a full-screen display with a waterdrop notch on top that houses the front-facing shooter. The TENAA listing confirms that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch LCD display panel with 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core chipset will be powering the smartphone. It will come in multiple configurations — 3 GB / 4 GB / 6 GB RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB internal storage. In the camera department, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is listed to feature a dual-camera setup with a 48 MP Sony IMX586 main sensor and a 13 MP secondary sensor.
The listing also confirms storage expansion up to 256 GB using a microSD card. It will also feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster. The smartphone, which has model number M1901F7BE, will pack a 3900 mAh battery and will offer dual SIM functionality.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro will be running MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie OS. In China, the device will be offered in eight color options — Black, Red, Blue, Pink, White, Green, Purple, and Gray.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India on 28th February, which will be exclusively available through Flipkart. Currently, the company has not revealed anything related to Redmi Note 7 Pro in India.
