Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has today announced the launch of a new promotional broadband plan called the “Fair usage Unlimited BB/Combo Plan-499” for its users in Delhi telecom circle.
The Fair usage Unlimited BB/Combo Plan-499 will carry a monthly rental of Rs.499 and will allow MTNL broadband users to connect to the world of the Internet at a speed of 2 Mbps.
As the name suggests this plan arrives with some fair usage policy, wherein MTNL users will be allowed to enjoy the speed of 2 Mbps up to 4 GB of data usage. Once the users cross the 4 GB limit, MTNL will downgrade the speed to 512 Kbps but the usage will still remain unlimited.
If any user wished to have a landline connection as a combo with the broadband, then the call charges will be Re.1 per unit.
MTNL will charge a few of Rs. 300 for the registration/installation and testing charges for broadband connection. And in case of a combo plan the registration charges for Landline will be Rs.500.
The plan will be available for users to opt in until 24-11-2012 on promotional basis.
