While 2014 is said to be the year of smartphones with 2K displays, the first handset with such high resolution is all set for launch later today. Meanwhile the images of the alleged Vivo XPlay 3S have already leaked, giving us a glimpse of what is in store.
The leaked images of the alleged Vivo XPlay 3S shows a very compact smartphone with minimum bezels around the display. As per teasers from Vivo, the display would occupy nearly 84 percent of the front surface. The device is expected to have a 5.7 inch display with extra high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Vivo XPlay 3S is supposedly powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Also expected is a 13 MP auto focus rear facing camera along with a 5 MP front facing camera. There are also apparently two stereo speakers on the back of the device. More details when the device is officially announced.
