Back in December 2012, we shared with you a benchmark result where in an unannounced Samsung device GT-N5100. While we expected the device to be the Galaxy Note 7, SamMobile reports today that the GT-N5100 will launch as the Galaxy Note 8.0.
The source has also got its hands over the specification of the alleged Apple iPad Mini competitor which is codenamed ‘Kona’ and is expected to arrive with an 8-inch display.
The tablet is expected to unveiled next month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and will be powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM. Samsung is expected to make the Galaxy Note 8.0 available in two variants: GT-N5100 3G / Wi-Fi version and the GT-N5110 Wi-Fi only version.
