LG has already made it official that they will be announcing the Optimus G Pro’s successor, the LG G Pro 2 next month and now, a couple of pictures of the device have leaked.
Pictures of the LG G Pro 2 leak show that LG will be continuing the G2’s rear buttons trend. The LG G2’s rear button design language has been received quite positively so it’s quite obvious from LG to bring its latest high-end offering featuring the same rear buttons.
These pictures have surfaced on a Korean forum and we can see the back of the device in one picture which features the rear buttons just beneath the camera along with a flash and a speaker grill on the bottom. The other picture is of the side of the device and there’s nothing much to talk about there. We don’t have a picture of the front of the device but from what we can see in the side picture, the device will feature narrow bezels similar to the LG G2 and of course the on-screen buttons.
The pictures are not accompanied with details of the device but rumors around its specs have been flowing around for a while now. The rumored specs feature a 6-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 processor, 3 GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat in tow along with LG’s optimizations such as the “knock on” and QSlide multitasking. There is also said to be support for LTE-A networks.
MWC is not too far away now and we are pretty sure we’ll get to know everything about the G Pro 2 there and as always we’ll bring you all the info.
