The PHILIPS Xenium S616 smartphone has got the approval from FCC. The images of the S616 are available on FCC’s website.
As can be seen in the image above, the PHILIPS Xenium S616 has a secondary camera and off screen navigation buttons on the front, whereas the primary camera along with flash and an expected speaker resides at the back.
On the top is the 3.5mm audio jack.
Whereas the bottom of the S616 consists of a USB port along with mic.
On the left is the volume rocker whereas the power button resides on the right side of the phone. As mentioned in the user manual on FCC’s website, you will have to remove the back cover of the phone in order to be able to insert the SIM card as well the memory card.
Talking about the specifications of the PHILIPS Xenium 616, it’s powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor accompanied by 2GB of RAM. The handset boasts off a 5.5-inch IPS display. The internal storage on this phone is 16GB with the option to expand the storage using a microSD card.

FCC approval means that this handset would soon be making its way into the US. As of now, there aren’t much details available regarding the PHILIPS Xenium S616, but we can expect PHILIPS to make some official announcements regarding this handset during the current CES.
