With the increasing demand for affordable smartphones in India, Philips has now launched the Philips S309 in the country.
Philips has announced the launch of the Philips S309, which is the company’s latest budget smartphone offering. The device has a 4 inch IPS display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor with mere 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The Philips S309 has a 5 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android KitKat version with a 1600 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 4999 and is available in Black and Red colour options.
