While we just heard rumours that the Samsung Galaxy S5 may feature a fingerprint sensor, Pantech is all set with its own phablet device which has a unique fingerprint sensor.
The Pantech Vega Secret Up has a 5.6 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is powered by the powerful quad core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. While it seems to be strikingly similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the absence of the stylus makes us think differently.
The Pantech Vega Secret Up has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. The sensor not only uses the fingerprint method for identification, but couples software-level security features with hardware ones, such as the ability to put the screen in head-on mode, where you can only see what’s on the screen if you are looking at it directly, not from the sides.
The Pantech Vega Secret Up has a 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera. The device runs on the Android Jelly Bean OS with its own interface having tiled widgets. The smartphone also comes with the Secret 2.0 mode for enhanced security.
