While most of the recently announced flagship device were powered by the new Snapdragon 801 processor, we know that an even more powerful Snapdragon 805 processor is set to make an entry soon. Now the processor is spotted on a phone.
An unknown smartphone from Pantech bearing model number Vega IM-A888S was spotted at the AnTuTu benchmarks. What certainly caught our attention is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor powering the device. Not just that, the smartphone also boasts of a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels on the display whose size is not yet known.
The benchmarks indicate that the Vega IM-A888S would have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage on-board. Also seen is the latest Android KitKat version. Details about the camera are not very clear, but we can expect a front facing 2 MP camera. We can expect this handset to launch in the third quarter of this year.
