With the increasing demand for LTE enabled smartphones, Panasonic has now launched the affordable Panasonic Eluga I3 in India.
Panasonic has announced the launch of the Panasonic Eluga I3, which is the company’s latest addition to the Eluga series with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Panasonic Eluga I3 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2700 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 9290 and is available in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Marine Blue colour options.
Speaking about the Panasonic Eluga I3, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “With the launch of ELUGA I3, we believe we will surely address some major consumer concerns by providing them with a better viewing experience and more productivity on-the-go”. Sharing details on Panasonic’s smartphone decision growth. The mobile division contributed 15% towards overall India revenue, which we want to take to 25% by the end of the ongoing fiscal. The ELUGA I3 comes at the most appropriate time when mobile internet is on the rise and there has been persistent increase in demand for larger screens and video consumption.”
