OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 2.2.1 OTA update for the OnePlus 2. The ‘flagship killer’ OnePlus 2 was launched by the company last year.
The OxygenOS 2.2.1 update does not bring Marshmallow, but it does come with some bug fixes and new features. Here’s what you can expect from the update:
- RAW support in OnePlus Camera
- Bluetooth compatibility improvement
- Ultra SIM compatibility improvement
- GMS 3.0 upgrade
- Improvement for roaming issues
- Fix for occasional image corruption issue in OnePlus Camera
- Security patch update
- Romanian language support
It’s worth noting that OnePlus rolled out an update recently for fixing the image corruption issue in OnePlus X camera as well. The OxygenOS 2.2.1 update for the OnePlus 2 also comes with the same fix along with February security patch and RAW support for the camera app.
The OxygenOS 2.1.0 update last year brought the RAW support for third-party apps. The 2.2.1 update is 241 MB in size and will be rolled out incrementally to everyone. Head on to the OnePlus Forums if you have any queries.
