While Oppo launched the Oppo N3, the company also launched the Oppo R5 and took with it the title for the slimmest smartphone in the world.
Oppo has announced the launch of the Oppo R5, which is touted to be the world’s slimmest smartphone measuring just 4.85 mm thick. The handset has a stainless steel body with a hand-polished micro-arc frame. The device has a 5.2 inch AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the octa core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Oppo R5 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, Schneider lens and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Color OS, which is based on the Android KitKat with a 2000 mAh battery.
