While we just saw a high-end flagship OnePlus One, which is made by ex-VP of Oppo, Oppo quickly announced a smartphone of its own – the Oppo R1S.
Oppo has announced the launch of the Oppo R1S, which is the successor for the Oppo R1. The device sports a 5 inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. There is also the Adreno 305 GPU.
The Oppo R1S is equipped with a 13 MP rear facing camera with 1/3″ Sony IMX214 sensor, 6-element, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The phone runs on the Colors OS which is based on the Android v4.3. The handset is priced at around $399 and would be available for pre-order on the Oppo online store from April 25.
