With Oppo pushing a series of mid-range to high-end smartphones over the past few weeks, the company has announced yet another smartphone.
The Oppo R1 is the latest addition by Chinese manufacturer Oppo. While we don’t see any extraordinary specs in the device, the smartphone flaunts a very powerful 8 MP camera. The camera has a wide aperture of F/2.0, which is even lower than Nokia Lumia 1020’s F/2.2 aperture, making it even better for photography in low light conditions. The device has a 5 inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
The Oppo R1 is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. However there is no microSD card slot. The device runs on the company’s Colour OS, which is based on Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2. The handset is priced at $410. However the global availability of the device is not mentioned.
