With most of the companies focussing on compact versions of their popular smartphones, Oppo has announced the Oppo Neo, which is a slightly smaller version of the Oppo N1.
The Oppo Neo has a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and the gloves mode, which enables the smartphone to be used while wearing gloves. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor with a 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The phone has support for dual SIM.
The Oppo Neo is equipped with a 5 MP rear facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. The phone runs on the ColorOS, which is the company’s platform based on the Android v4.2. There is a 1900 mAh battery. The handset is expected to be available in Indonesia for $215. However there is still no word about the international availability.
