Just weeks after launching the Oppo F1 for the selfie-lovers in India, Oppo is planning to launch yet another selfie-centric smartphone in India next week.
According to sources, Oppo is planning to launch a selfie-centric smartphone in India. The company has apparently scheduled an event in India somewhere in the first week of April and is said to be a global launch. The handset is said to flaunt a massive 16 MP selfie camera with a metal unibody design with slim bezels and a fingerprint scanner.
Interestingly, the above details closely match the recently announced Oppo R9 which has a 5.5 inch full HD AMOLED display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. While there is no official confirmation from the company yet, we strongly believe that the Oppo R9 is coming to India soon.
