Nokia created a huge buzz over the 41 MP camera sensor it fitted in the Lumia 1020. While it claims to hold the record for largest smartphone camera, Oppo has plans to break the record.
According to the leaked EXIF-data of a photo clicked using the alleged Oppo Find 7, the camera of the device could easily have a whopping 50 MP sensor. Yes, you read it right. 50 megapixels! The photo certainly looks very crisp and clear with almost no background noise. Clearly, it doesn’t seem to have been taken in the best light conditions.
Unfortunately, this data is not always reliable as the EXIF file can easily be tampered with. However a 50 MP camera would give the Oppo Find 7 an extra edge over the other competitors. Based on rumours, the high-end smartphone is expected to feature quad-HD display and the Snapdragon 801 processor. The handset is likely to be announced on March 19.
