OPPO is going to launch two new F series smartphones this month – the OPPO F3 and OPPO F3 Plus – and, while there’s still two weeks of time for the launch, a document has leaked online which reveals specifications of the OPPO F3 Plus.
According to this leaked document, the OPPO F3 Plus will come with MSM8976 Pro octa-core processor under the hood which will be coupled with 4 GB RAM. Well, that MSM8976 Pro is actually Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 653 chipset. The F3 Plus boasts a 6-inch Full-HD display, and, being a selfie-centric phablet, it will sport a dual camera setup on the front with a combo of 16 MP + 8 MP snappers. For regular shots, you will have a 16 MP rear camera at your disposal.
Even in 2017, the F3 Plus will launch with Android 6.0 Marshmallow which was released way back in 2015. Well, we hope OPPO will be quick to roll out the 7.0 Nougat update. Apart from this, the F3 Plus will come with 64 GB of internal storage with external storage expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. The phablet will be offered in Gold and Black colors, and, given the huge size of the display, the F3 Plus will ship with a 4000 mAh battery to keep the lights on.
