OnePlus launched its flagship true wireless earbuds last year, dubbed OnePlus Buds Pro. Now, the company is working on a successor model — OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and if the latest report is to be believed, then the launch could happen soon.
Ahead of the expected launch of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in the first quarter of next year (Q1 2023), the design of the upcoming premium true wireless earbuds has leaked online. The high-quality renders of the Buds Pro 2 show a design similar to its predecessor.
The renders show the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in Olive Green color, but we expect the device to be available in a couple of more color options, including Black and Silver or White. The top half of the earbuds will have a matte finish, while the bottom half will have a glossy finish.
Coming to the design, to ensure a better fit, the earbuds will have angled ear tips. There will also be a microphone on the outer side of the earphones. The charging case is also similar to its predecessor, featuring a pebble-shaped box with a matte finish and OnePlus as well as Dynaudio branding.
As for the specifications, they are expected to have 11mm and 6mm dual drivers, along with support for Active Noise Cancellation up to 46dB. The earphones will reportedly have three microphones and come with support for LHDC 4.0 codec.
For the battery life, the report adds that it will offer six hours of usage with ANC enabled, and without ANC, the battery life will to nine hours. Adding the capacity boost through the charging case, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 can offer 22 hours of usage.
