Yesterday, we saw the OnePlus 5 making an appearance on two different benchmarking websites which revealed two different memory configurations. Well, the OnePlus 5 has now appeared on one more benchmarking website revealing some more of its details.
After popping up on Geekbench and AnTuTu, the OnePlus 5 has now popped up on GFXBench with the same model number, i.e., A5000. The GFXBench listing reveals Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood which is coupled with 8 GB RAM and backed by Adreno 540 GPU which will handle graphically intensive tasks.
Well, this is the second time that we are seeing the OnePlus 5 with 8 GB of RAM on a benchmarking website. Initially, the Geekbench listing also revealed 8 GB RAM under the hood. Besides, the landing page of Amazon India for the OnePlus 5 also had hints of 8 GB RAM in its source code. Hence, we are pretty much sure now that OnePlus 5 will have 8 GB RAM under the hood. Of course, AnTuTu listing had revealed 6 GB RAM, hence, it’s safe to assume that the OnePlus 5 will be offered in two different memory configurations.
Coming back to the GFXBench listing, it further reveals 128 GB of internal storage, 5.5-inch Full-HD display, OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and, a 16 MP camera at the back and on the front. We know, the dual rear camera setup is already confirmed, however, it seems that GFXBench could only detect one camera out of this dual camera setup. The other one is said to be a 20 MP snapper.
So, to sum it up, going by all the leaks and benchmark listings, we should expect the OnePlus 5 to be offered in two different memory configurations, one would be the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage variant whereas the other one would be the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage variant.
Speaking of the pricing, the 6 GB RAM variant is said to be priced at ₹32,999 in India whereas the 8 GB RAM variant is said to cost ₹37,999.
The OnePlus 5 is going to be unveiled on June 20 and will then launched on June 22 in India. We are pretty much excited about the OnePlus 5? Are you?
