We have known earlier that the OnePlus event in India is due on June 22. Soon after that, the handset will go on sale via Amazon India which is an exclusive OnePlus partner. We knew that the company would hold pop-up events following the release to tease the new device.
Now, we have more details on the matter. OnePlus says that pop-up events will take place in 4 cities in India. The first pop up event which will display the device will be in New Delhi on June 23. Next up is Chennai and Bangalore on June 24. While Hyderabad will host the much sought after device on June 25.
We have a very clear view of what the device will look like courtesy of the trolling OnePlus suffered after showing renders of the device on Twitter. The flagship houses the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC, with options of 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Information regarding the Amazon India price has also surfaced some days back. The 6 GB version will cost Rs. 32,999. That is a very good price point, if you look at what the device offers. The 8 GB version is heading towards the Samsungs and LG’s when it comes to price. It is priced at Rs. 37,999
