The OnePlus 5, successor to last year’s OnePlus 3T, was initially rumored to launch on June 15 and then was rumored to launch on June 20. However, the company has now confirmed the date of launch, and, it’s June 20 indeed.
The launch date was confirmed by OnePlus Twitter. OnePlus tweeted “Are you prepared for the OnePlus 5? Focus on what matters and join our keynote live on June 20“. OnePlus also shared the image that’s shown above which says “Focus On What Matters” which confirms the existence of dual camera setup on the OnePlus 5.
The OnePlus 5 is rumored to sport a dual camera setup at its back, and, it’s confirmed to come with Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood which might be coupled with either 6 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM. It’s also said to be more compact than the 3T, and, the company CEO has said that it will be the thinnest flagship smartphone.
Having said, the launch is still around two weeks from now, hence, we are expecting more information about the OnePlus 5 to leak online.
