OnePlus is taking every chance it has to tease the OnePlus 5 weeks ahead of its rumored launch. Recently OnePlus CEO Pete Lau revealed on Weibo that the OnePlus 5 will be the thinnest flagship device.
Now we have a new teaser from OnePlus itself. The teaser is aimed at showing how small the OnePlus 5 will be.
In the image you see a OnePlus 3T lying face-down and a shadow of the device. OnePlus invites followers to ‘look into the shadows’ explaining another device lies beneath the OnePlus 3T. Since the image is from the company itself, we have little doubts as to the accuracy as well as the information meant for the public.

What we understand from the teaser is that the OnePlus 5 will have a smaller body or at least the same size as the OnePlus 3T. Understandably, recent comments of CEO Pete Lau revealed the OnePlus 5 would be thinner, so making it compact too is the next logical step. If the body is indeed smaller, that puts a question mark on the screen size. Recent reports have consistently pointed to a 5.5-inch screen. That could mean that the OnePlus 5 bezels will be to accommodate the 5.5-inch display. But of course, this is an assumption.
The OnePlus 5 is expected to launch with the mighty Snapdragon 835 and carry at least 6GB of RAM while 8GB of RAM also seem a possibility. The dual camera setup at the back is also very probable as all rumors are pointing to it. What irks us is the expected price. The OnePlus 5 might be more expensive than the OnePlus 3T as industry insiders expect, because of more premium hardware and OnePlus aiming for profit growth. The OnePlus 5 is expected to launch on June 15th.
