More than two weeks ago, OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 3.2.2 update for the OnePlus 3 which came along with some improvements and also fixed some issues. Now, the company is rolling out OxygenOS 3.2.4 update for the device, altogether skipping the 3.2.3 update.
This new update is a hotfix update which means it is aimed at issues which are affecting many users and need to be fixed immediately. Lots of OnePlus 3 users have reported that their devices are restarting automatically. Well no one likes to see their device restarting automatically when they want to use it for something important.
Here’s what you should expect from this hotfix update:
- Fixed the auto-reboot issue.
- Improved call quality.
- Implemented various fixes and carrier optimizations.
OnePlus hasn’t included the latest August security patch with this update though. This update is rolled out over-the-air and is said to be 26 MB in size. As always, the roll out is incremental so it might take a while before the update reaches you.
If you have already updated your OnePlus 3 with this latest update, do let us know if this update made any difference.
